    Appalachia is a perfect blend of strings, voices and musical styles.  In concert they offer up their own inspired take on American roots music, mixing blues, country, jazz, ragtime, bluegrass and unique originals into a potent brew that will move you… and make you move!
  • Evening Chorus @ Sausage Sunday Sun, 14 Mar, 1:00pm
    Infusing hand-made CDs and merchandise with exciting yet thoughtful music and lively stage performance, Evening Chorus present themselves with an integrity and authenticity that belies the short time they have been together.  You’re in for a treat- sausages involved, too.
  • Music Quiz w/ Leonardo's Bicycle Tue, 16 Mar, 8:00pm
    The fabulous Frome duo introduce the fantastic Griffin pop quiz.  Reckon you know yer stuff? Come try yourself against some of Frome’s finest music buffs.  Teams up to 6 people, only £1 per person.  Starts at 8.30pm.
  • Chemical Steve's Vinyl Mixture Thu, 18 Mar, 8:00pm
    For a mid-week medley of mixed up music, head to the Griffin for Chemical Steve’s classic records night.
  • The Wheel Of Furtune Sat, 20 Mar, 9:03pm
    Let the Power Rangers spin it, and the Wheel will decide the fate of your music! It brings the crowd together at the end of the night & leaves a smile on the face of the dancefloor.  Spin the Wheel - Where will it land??!!

    Toby Spin and Tippercool will be hitting the Wheel after the final match of this year's Six Nations, France v England, which, incidentally is being shown on our shiny new telly.  Get yourself in by 2.30pm and you won't miss any matches today.
  • Open Mic @ Sausage Sunday Sun, 21 Mar, 1:00pm
    Players, drinkers and sinners all welcome to play their part in this open mic session.  Bring your instruments and your ears.  BBQ of local premium sausages from 1pm. Families welcome. From 1pm, free entrance.
  • David Rhodes Sat, 27 Mar, 8:00pm
    David has been Peter Gabriel's guitarist for over 20 years now, as well as having played with artists as diverse as Paul McCartney, Joan Armatrading and Robert Plant.  In 2009 David completed Bittersweet, his solo album, and is currently touring it using a loop machine.  It will be a real treat to have this acclaimed musician in the Griffin.
  • Rach & Julie @ Sausage Sunday Sun, 28 Mar, 1:00pm
    Slippery Fish saxophonist and Julie Britton, clarinettist, playing some of your jazz favourites on a Sunday afternoon, maybe with a guest or two, if you’re lucky.  Families welcome, and barbeques sausages from 1pm.
  • Celtic Night Tue, 30 Mar, 8:00pm
    The magic continues after more than nine years of Irish music at the Griffin.  The scope of the session has widened to encompass a broader church.  Come along to join in, or just to enjoy.
