January listing. Jan 5, 2012 ( in News )

Hello loyal patrons!

Here’s a line up of the events here at the Griffin this month. All selected to lift the spirit and fight off those January blues.

So Saturday 07/01/12 @ 20:30 – Two Man Ting.

These guys are fantastic. Some of you will have seen them play here in the past but with a Saturday night crowd’s energy and hopefully a bit of dancing, these guys are going to be huge fun.

14/01/12 @ 20:30 – Bemis.

Gareth and Ritchie started Bemis; two friends that pooled their collective experience to bring out their own take on the “acoustic duo” format. Both played guitar, with Ritchie filling the sound with a twelve string acoustic. Both had decades of playing behind them, with their friendship and commitment making their vocal harmonies tight and expressive.
Now they are a full band, with Jeff Radford joining them on bass and vocals and Warrick Swift joining them on drums.

They’ve been playing in different festivals around the English festival circuit for years now and have built up a solid reputation for their great songs, their vocal harmonies and their audience interaction.
