For those who have been to the Griffin recently, you would’ve seen some structural changes going on. We’ve built a lobby, with a second door, and also have new sound insulated shutters. These measures are all attempts to keep the external noise down and the neighbours happy. Please help us to do this, and leave the pub quietly, cheers muchly!

More exciting news – this weekend will be the first with our very own spanking new PA SYSTEM, woo!! The Delusionals, who are playing on Saturday will be christening the new system.
We now have a lovely cosy area in front of the wood-burner, with big squishy sofas. Perfect for enjoying an early pint after work, as we are now open from 4pm daily. Not only that, but Happy Hour is from 4pm until 7pm Monday to Saturday, so it only costs £2.20 a pint. As if that’s not good enough, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday beers are Happy Hour prices ALL NIGHT!! Cor, we spoil you!
